Even a BYE WEEK can't stop Feed the Team Day!

We normally take a break from feeding the team during our bye week, but these boys were craving some REAL Mexican food, and TORO LOCO in Gallipolis REALLY HOOKED THEM UP! 🌮🌯

A HUGE THANK YOU to Toro Loco for treating our Big Blacks Football Team to an awesome evening! Great atmosphere, great service, great people, and most importantly, GREAT FOOD!

The boys enjoyed drinks, chips & salsa, and a fan favorite — Chicken, Rice & Cheese! And if you've ever tried feeding a bunch of high school football players, you know that's no easy task! Some of these guys can REALLY put away the food, but thanks to Toro Loco, NOBODY LEFT HUNGRY! 😂

There’s just something special about a small town!

We love our little town of Point Pleasant and the amazing people and businesses that make our community such a special place!

THANK YOU to Nikki McGrath, Janet Hartley & Sharron Justus for feeding our Big Blacks Football Team AND Cheerleaders this week!

Nikki (mom of #5 Ean Wasonga), Janet, and Sharron all work at Homestead Realty, the oldest real estate office in our area.

They are so much more than selling homes! You will always find them somewhere in our community lending a helping hand, supporting local events, and giving back. They aren't just in the business of selling homes; they're in the business of making our hometown a better place to live! 🔴⚫ A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO PASTOR BOBBY PATTERSON! 🏈🙏

Before our football season comes to an end, we want to take a moment to give a SHOUT OUT to our Big Blacks Football Team Pastor, Bobby Patterson!

Throughout the season, Bobby has dedicated his time each week to providing an optional Bible Study for our football players.

For some of our players who may not regularly attend church, this has been an opportunity to learn about Christ, explore the Bible, and grow in their faith. For the many players who do attend church, it's been a great midweek spiritual refresh.

What makes it even more special is that our players get to share this experience with their teammates and friends. Bobby has a unique way of connecting with the boys, using football analogies to help teach lessons from the Bible in ways they can understand and relate to both on and off the field.

Football is about so much more than wins and losses. It's about building character, leadership, friendships, and helping these young men grow into the best versions of themselves.

Bobby shared with us how grateful he is for the opportunity he's had this year to work with our players and help them grow, both spiritually and as young men. And the best part? He's already working on new ideas for next football season and beyond! We love seeing that kind of dedication and commitment to our kids and our program.

Bobby, THANK YOU for investing your time in our players, sharing your faith, and being such a positive influence in their lives. We truly appreciate everything you do for our Big Blacks Football Family, and we look forward to what the future holds!

Congratulations to Isaiah Waminan on being named the Lisa Johnson Player of the Game for Week 8 against the Marietta Tigers!

FOUR-TIME WINNER! 🏆🏆🏆🏆

That's right! We are eight weeks into the season, and Isaiah has already earned this honor FOUR TIMES! That means he has been recognized as the Lisa Johnson Player of the Game in HALF of our games this season! That's an incredible accomplishment and speaks volumes about his hard work, dedication, and impact on this team!

Football is the ultimate TEAM sport. Every single player on our roster plays an important role, and we wouldn't be the same team without each and every one of them. But there's no denying that Isaiah has become a vital part of this Big Blacks Football team!

His effort, determination, and leadership continue to make a difference week after week, both on and off the field.
