Seabass season is off to a phenomenal start!! Loads of action happy anglers n big bags of tasty fillets for everyone!!!

Make sure you keep up with the daily reports on the Fish monger charters page. Also I am more active on the On Point instagram page as well give it a follow!
Unfortunately I can’t personally get into the Facebook account, luckily Mikey was still able to so he helps me out once In a while I just hate to bother him!

Unfortunately some bad weather the next couple days but will b back at it every the weather lets us. Only a few dates left ( both boats) for the entire seabass season so if ur looking to get out give Marie a buzz 732 403-6056.

Some of the best fishing I can recall up in the bay in some time!! What an epic day the big group of 13 guys caught close to 200 fish. Had 5 guys without over 20 fish each..
we have been seeing limits daily along with many releases now’s the time!!

Man oh man it’s been a longggg winter but we areeee BACK!!

Ran our first two bass trips seeing limits on both!! Guys fishing hard casting shads all day seeing some shorts and overs as well. We will be sailing all week and have plenty of room!!

Well folks some big news here!!
As a lot of you have heard we here at On point will be teaming up with captain Jerry and the Fish Monger boys!!! Going to be able to accommodate groups of 6-15! Bad ass 46 foot twin screw known killing machine. We will be following the normal schedule with spring stripers followed by seabass and so on. The book has been filling up so do not wait to reach out and secure a date!!
For some time I will be posting reports on here but make sure you go and follow Fish Monger charters to really stay on top of everything!

I want to thank everyone who has come out and supported On Point over the last four seasons. We all had some great times with many many slay days on the ole girl. Going to miss her but really excited for the next chapter!!!

Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Sorry for the lack of activity, with being full we just haven’t had to post to much.

Since the last post we have been out on 7/8 trips. We have seen days with 50k and days with 15. Averaging out around 30 with the quality most days being nice. A lot of 5-8lb roasters making the box, we had 5 DD fish in that time with the biggest being just under 11.

Did a few more trips this week seeing some more of the grind. One really bad day with the wind coming on early so we went home but other than that it has been 20-35k to 8lbs.

Togs!
Over the last week we have seen 30-50 keeper days. We had 2 big fish pizza Joe with a his Pb 15lb jig fish!! Capt had another jumbo at 12lbs. Average size of the keepers has been very nice 3-7lbs. Been some heartbreaks as well definitely some big fish chewing this year. Thanks to everyone that’s been out!!

Sorry for the lack of reports, now that it’s tog season I’ll be posting 1-2 times a week!!

OPEN BOAT TOMORROW SUNDAY 11/24

We have seen some sluggish fishing to start the season with catches of 12-28k over our 5 trips thus far. Big fish came in at a little over 10lbs and we lost a couple more we really wish we got to see!! Thanks for everyone who’s been out fishing through the grind! Hopefully as the water drops we will see more bites.

Tomorrow Sunday 11/24 became available!! Charter had some issues so going to open it up. Been great bass fishing and with the west wind and we can hide along the beach for the togs!!

RARE opportunity!! Tomorrow Saturday the 16th opened up!! Last weekend for the season we will be getting in on this savage bass bite!
Wednesday our last trip out was good as it gets. Limit of keepers as well!

11/11/2024

Saturday we got a shot at fish in the morning chasing the birds around. Kept it moving to just have a slow pick for a couple hours. Took another big leap and ended the day on a couple pods of bunker pulling 20 fish out for the 4 guys in just the last hour alone! Ended up being a great day. A limit of tasty size fish to go along with it! Thanks guys.

Sunday didn’t know what to expect with how so many things have been changing day by day. Well another big change with no bait in sight anywhere we had to change it up. Found a solid pick of jig fish getting our limit of keepers and plenty of overs. Boys picked around 30 fish for the day before the bite went dead. Thanks for fishing hard guys!

Thursday we had terry and the boys out for their day with the bass. You would have thought it was a Saturday with all the boat traffic.. like usual that really affected the fishing only getting a couple cracks for the day. Thanks for fishing hard guys!! Always a fun group.

Friday we had Paul and the small crew out. WOW WOW WOW is all I have to say!!! Fabulous fishing from start to finish. Hh was around 20, Scotty had his best day EVER landing 18-20 fish and getting his pb, Rob also had his PB!! Oh and had some keepers to send everyone home with! 4 man crew over 60 fish day, incredible fishing!
