So last night I was dreaming and it went something like this - hooked up a 1200 lb giant in the canal on a long stick popping rod. Fish tries to circle back against the bulkhead. Somehow turn the fish and get the head up. Gaff goes in!!! I guess Spring must be here. Good omen of things to come. Cannot wait to get out.
