Had to share…if you have been around the MVAPA for any amount of time, these two faces should be very familiar! They both shot for the 183 for YEARS, before packing up their pool cues and heading south to FLA!
Congratulations Matt and Jeanine…It’s about damn time, Lol!!!!

NO THEY HAVE NOT...in fact, APAs rules and MVAPAs bylaws have not changed in a number of years. If someone tells you that "the rules have changed", MAKE THEM SHOW YOU THE "CHANGED" RULE IN THE RULE BOOK!
Once again, you ALL have the APA rule book in your hands. Just click on the "MENU" (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner of your Member Services app and choose "RULES" for the Official Team Manual. MVAPA bylaws can be found just below the rules under "MY LEAGUES", by clicking on "MOUNTAIN VALLEY APA".

THIS IS A FRIENDLY REMINDER ABOUT SL REVIEWS

In an effort to streamline skill level review requests, there is a Google Form to fill out, completely, in order to submit ANY skill level review. As a reminder, we will NOT conduct any review if submitted via any other method (text, call, email, bottom of score sheet, etc...).
This will allow us to obtain the exact information that we need to conduct a thorough and proper skill level review, as well as better track reviewer requests.
After filling out the Google Form, you will receive a notice stating that your response has been recorded AND you will receive an email with a copy of your responses. Upon review, you may receive an email directly from Doc with his findings. Please be patient as it may take a few days to even a week respond.
Also, please keep in mind that a SL review does not mean that a player’s skill level will automatically change, just because you feel it should. A skill level review is a chance to draw our attention, in more detail, to an individual and potential give us additional information that the system does not.
To submit a review, simply use the link below…
https://forms.gle/BaedeMrrdCWdv3aM8

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND.....
*Not all reviews will receive a response though we try our best to do so.
*We CAN NOT and WILL NOT review players with less than 6 matches.
*We are tracking all SL reviews. This will help us to determine players who are abusing this service.
*ALL players are reviewed on a weekly basis. This form is intended for players to share information with us that they feel may not be evident in a player's scores.
*We will not conduct a review if the form is not completed entirely.

THIS IS FOR TAMAQUA MONDAY 8 BALL ONLY-DIVISION 012

We have spent the last 2 weeks trying to save one of the teams in this division but when push came to shove, this was not possible. Unfortunately what this means is that there needed to be a major change to the roster/schedule as there was already a BYE in this division. Here are the changes...
Rackless Behavior, formerly team #15, is now team #9 and there are now 14 teams in the division rather that 16. YES, there are teams that you may shoot twice while there are other teams you may not get a chance to shoot at all. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNAVOIDABLE, UNFORTUNATLEY. Should this create any issues with ties for playoffs, we will address them at that time (no need to worry about an issue that may not even occur).
We did the very best that we could do with the schedule, half way through the session. We thank you all for your understanding and if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our office.

Rules surrounding rescheduling can all be found in our By Laws! This was just posted Sept 14 but some of you must have missed it so we are posting again.
In addition, SOME TEAMS (you know who you are) OVER-USE the option to reschedule. We ARE tracking the usage of rescheduling matches and for the teams who are misusing and abusing this option, don’t be surprised if the league office steps in to deny your requests. It should be the exception, not the rule! And this goes for SPLITTING MATCHES as well!
