As we approach mid-session, here are a few reminders for everyone to review...

PAYMENT NOTICE: Marni is on vacation next week and needs to clear the books prior to leaving. Teams who are not paid up to date BY TOMORROW, will lose their bonus points. No excuses.

While most teams are fantastic about paying on time, there are still a few who are behind.

Captains-you are ALL well aware of the rules governing payments. If you can’t make the payment for some reason, there are 7 other members of your team who can do so.

We have no idea why this rule gets “confused” and “misquoted” so often, the wording is very clear. Please familiarize your teammates with this rule.
Also, if someone shares a rule with you and it doesn’t seem correct, ask them to show it to you in the rule book. Often times, the rules are misquoted or misunderstood and simply locating and reading them in the OTM will clear up any misunderstanding.
REMINDER THAT THE OTM CAN BE FOUND IN YOUR APP-click on the 3 lines in the top left corner of the app to bring up the menu and click on RULES…. TADA!

CONGRATULATIONS to these two crazy kids for finally tying the knot! Tanya Heffner and Keith Bolton said “I Do” in a beautiful ceremony on Saturday. Congratulations Mr and Mrs “Patches” Bolton!

Yesterday we had over 140 people competing to be the best of the best within their skill level/skill bracket. It was such an enjoyable day of competition, sportsmanship and skill and in the end, we crowned the MVPs for the Fall ‘25 and Spring ‘26 sessions. Winners walked away with a $200 Gift Certificate to Cuestix.com while runner ups earned a free tournament entry (single or doubles) and their 2027 yearly dues paid!
Thank you to all in attendance for displaying the highest level of gamesmanship and support of one another.
Of course, this tournament would never have been possible without Dini M and Chris I running the boards and keeping play moving along. Marty S volunteered his time, once again, as our referee-he’s been clutch this tournament season! THANK YOU TO ALL 3 OF YOU!
And finally, thank you to Summit Lanes, James and his entire staff for their top notch service. It’s so nice to have 22 pool tables at the ready to be able to run these large tournaments quickly and efficiently!

That wraps up the 2026 Fall Singles qualifying window. Any singles boards run from this point on through November will qualify you for Spring 2027! So keep your eyes open for Singles Boards being run-it’s the “easiest” way to earn a spot to Vegas!
