🎧⚡ MEET THE FACULTY: MISS BELLA! ⚡🎧

We are so excited to have Miss Bella back at Mountain Dance Company for Season 8! 🩷

A Pennsylvania native, Bella has trained extensively in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, and modern, growing up as a competitive dancer before continuing her training at an arts-focused high school and at the collegiate level.

As a performer and choreographer, Bella has worked with notable choreographers and developed a particular love for contemporary dance, expressive movement, and storytelling through choreography. Her original choreography has also been showcased at Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts. ✨

But if you've seen Miss Bella in the studio, you already know that her creativity is only part of what makes her special. She has experience teaching dancers from ages 5–18 across multiple styles and is passionate about helping young dancers discover what makes them unique.

We're incredibly excited to watch her continue creating, teaching, challenging, and inspiring our dancers this season. 🩷

🎧⚡ MEET THE FACULTY: MS. MAIA! ⚡🎧

This introduction is extra special because Ms. Maia isn't just joining our faculty—she's coming home. 🩷

A proud Mountain Dance Company alumna, Maia danced for 14 years and spent five of those years as part of our Performance Ensemble and Competition Team. Now a student at East Stroudsburg University, she's returning to MDC on the other side of the studio—as a teacher! 🥹🩷

Throughout her dance journey, Maia has been recognized on both regional and national stages, earning multiple standout awards for her technique, performance, choreography, and composition. She's also been accepted to and received scholarships from numerous artistic programs, including DeSales University's Dance Department, and has had the incredible opportunity to perform her own choreography at a sold-out Sherman Theater.

But what we're most excited for is what she'll bring to our dancers. ✨

Ms. Maia believes in building strong foundations in technique and musicality, while teaching something equally important: confidence, kindness, and the courage to be completely yourself.

She wants every dancer who walks into her classroom to feel encouraged to shine, embrace what makes them unique, and—most importantly—have FUN doing what they love.

Watching our dancers grow up at MDC and then come back to pour that experience into the next generation is pretty darn special. 🩷

Please help us officially welcome Ms. Maia back home and to the Season 8 faculty!

🎧⚡ MEET THE FACULTY: MISS SARAH! ⚡🎧

We are SO excited to welcome Miss Sarah to the Mountain Dance Company family for Season 8! 🩷

Sarah has been dancing since she was 5 years old, training in ballet, tap, jazz, and more. Her love of dance continued through college, where she had the opportunity to serve as Dance Team Captain at East Stroudsburg University. 💃

But dance isn't the only place Miss Sarah knows how to make kids shine! ✨ She is a certified PreK–4 educator, currently teaches kindergarten at a local elementary school, and also serves as a Cheer Club Coach.

Her experience in both education and dance makes her such a wonderful addition to our faculty. She knows how to create a positive, encouraging environment where kids can feel comfortable trying new things, building confidence, and being themselves. 🩷

When she's not teaching, you might find Sarah skiing, paddleboarding, traveling, or spending time with her friends and family.

We can't wait for our dancers to get to know her—and we are so excited to see everything she brings to MDC this year!
