Really want to thank everyone who were able to help us get to race this weekend, biggest race we’ve ran and things didn’t go quite as well as we had hoped. Started off Thursday on the outside pole, very fast karts in our heat dropped a position and 2 laps in got pushed up and hit the wall. Bent a right front spindle and stayed in the back. Decided last minute we were gonna run in jr2 on Friday for the laps to try to figure the kart back out. Since we started pole on Thursday it put us tailback on Friday so we had to try to figure it out quick. Started tailback on Friday in jr1 due to inverted heats and could not get the kart where we needed. Started tail back in jr2 since we didn’t run on Thursday changed a few things and thought we may have had it figured out. But didn’t. Started in the back of the c in jr 2 and was flying, needed top 3 to make the B pushed it to 3rd and caught 2nd and the leader, tried to push it a bit harder and clipped the left rear of 2nd and spun out, got it turned back around before a caution but sadly got passed by 4th and was gaining but fell short from making the B main. Started in the back of the B main in jr1 and needed to make top 4 and couldn’t get the speed we needed to make the A main fell short and finished 5th. Needless to say in order to compete with those kids we have to be dialed in and next time we are hoping for that to be the case. We want to thank everyone who has made this all possible.
