Good morning lower back pain!

Something many people suffer from but don't focus on alleviating with stretching and strengthening is the lower back. Typically people these days do a lot of sitting or work from home, which puts a lot of stress on our back, and moves it into spinal flexion. To help alleviate the soreness, build some strength in the lower back, and increase blood circulation to those lower back muscles, the Good Morning is an excellent exercise to start any lower extremity day with!

I love this place!

Even before I started working here, I called this place a second home, and would frequent the gym quite often. It was a place where I was able to work on myself, tune things out, and just overall find peace as I went about my workouts. Now that I work here, I’ve had the opportunity to become a part of an amazing community of people! The staff, trainers, and instructors are a combination of the best coworkers I could ask for, and the members are a variety of awesome!

Here at Gold’s, the atmosphere is positive and upbeat, the classes are fun and challenging, and there's more than enough equipment to meet your fitness needs. Everyone is from a different walk of life, and I’ve never felt out of place while being here. If you're looking for a gym to call home, look no further! Gold's Gym is the place to be!

Give heavy rack pulls a try! Usually 5-15% more than your max deadlift. Rack pulls can help:
-Increase your pulling strength
-Decrease lumbar stress
-Target upper back muscles

For those of you new to my page, welcome!

Let’s get to know each other a bit. I’m Conor! I’m a NASM certified personal trainer at Gold’s Gym. I’ve been with my wife/highschool sweetheart for about 15 years now(where did the time go?!?) I’m a proud father of the most amazing little girl Juniper, and Dog Dad to Pepper the cutest little fuzz ball ever!

Outside of the Fitness lifestyle, I’m a huge nerd! I love a plethora of video games, anime, comics, trading cards, and DnD. However, I also enjoy things like going out for coffee dates or the occasional social beer, camping, fishing, and a good show to lose track of time on.

1) Nutrition - this can be a touchy subject for some. I have a passion to find ways to make it work for you! Small changes are what will make the biggest impact. And it doesn't include starving your body or saying no to your favorite treats.

2) Programming - I can help you plan a program that won't have you reaching a wall, and will keep you progressing towards your goals while staying interesting and keeping you motivated.

3) Form - I can help you achieve correct technique and form while performing various exercises. I'll be looking for any overactive or underactive muscles, so that we may focus on those areas, making sure the body functions as a cohesive whole.

Nice single at 275lbs. Little fast on the eccentric movement, but happy with the form. Haven't done that raw in a few years.💪

If you're going to take PR videos, remember to bring a tripod. 😅 Hit a new deadlift PR of 385lbs, and felt like there was more in the tank. 💪 😅
