The PRCA National Circuit Finals Rodeo began in 1987 in Pocatello, Idaho, where it was held for 24 consecutive years before moving to Oklahoma City (2011–2013), Guthrie, Oklahoma (2014), and Kissimmee, Florida (2015–2023). Today, the championship is held in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as the NFR Open at Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo, where champions from each of the PRCA's circuits compete for the prestigious National Circuit Championship and a place among rodeo's elite.
Pocatello remains the longest-running host by far, having staged the National Circuit Finals for 24 consecutive years. No other city has hosted it for even half that long. Big Bucks ProRodeo is honored bring a PRCA Rodeo to Pocatello after a 16-year absence with the inaugural Bannock County PRCA Rodeo. Don’t miss year two! May 21-22, 2027!
