Pocahontas Golf Club became incorporated in August of 1933.

The records I have is that the actual land was purchased in 1934. The Log Cabin Clubhouse was constructed in 1935. By the looks of the original articles of corporation, there were 25 charter members.

We had our final tournament of the year. Heaven and Hell is always a fun one! The foursome of Caleb Freeburg, Mike Vonnahme, Gavin Ehn and Cavin Henrickson won with a 57. Kendra Winegarden was the big winner on our membership or $1000 drawing. She took the money and gave half back to the course plus drinks for all!! 🎉⛳️ Thanks to everyone for coming out.

(Update: Tournament full🎉🎉-27 teams) Course will be closed on Saturday for our Heaven and Hell tournament. We currently have 25 teams and will cap it at 27. Please get your teams in by Thursday if interested. $160/team of 4. Call the clubhouse at 335-4375. ⛳️🎉

We had our ladies 4 gal best shot last night! We had 9 teams (it was postponed due to weather and unfortunately some couldn’t make it). We were able to raise just over $600 for school supplies/needs!!!🎉🎉 our winners were the team of Carole Hohensee, Sara Hohensee, Abby Sroufe and Kim Kleen with a 33!!🏆Thanks to everyone who came out and who donated their winnings as well! Thank you to these businesses for donating prizes- New Impressions, Availa, Pocahontas Hospital, Farm Bureau, Med Spa, Hair Designs by JoAnn, Monat/Abi Klumpp, Sale Barn, Sara Hohensee, Jamie Ferguson, and Scentsy/Megan Benson.
