Pocahontas Golf Club became incorporated in August of 1933.

The records I have is that the actual land was purchased in 1934. The Log Cabin Clubhouse was constructed in 1935. By the looks of the original articles of corporation, there were 25 charter members.

Just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for a great golf season! We appreciate the endless amount of volunteering that takes place from tournament help, tree/grounds clean up and plants/flower donations at tee boxes. We couldn’t do it without you! I wanted to give a shout out 🎉to Seiler Appliance for always helping to winterize the clubhouse, get the clubhouse going in the spring and answering my endless questions about drips, puddles, noises and odd smells! 🤣🤷‍♀️see you all in 2026!⛳️

Sat and Sun -we will be in/out cleaning but will gladly assist you.

Saturday -closed for Cross Country meet. May open after if weather cooperates
Sunday 1:00-til quiet if wind cooperates
*golf carts won’t be rented after 5:00 due to getting dark earlier

Next week will be our last week. We will be open Wed Thurs Fri (hours to come) and Sat/Sun we will be in/out cleaning and closing up.

Clubhouse will open at 10:00 both today, Wednesday, and tomorrow. At this time, we have no staff available for Friday. We will open again Sat and Sun at 9:00. Thanks!

Updated hours:
Will try to post when changes arise with staffing and less traffic at the course.
Leagues are done. Open golf daily.

Clubhouse will need to close Friday the 12th at 4.
Next week, the clubhouse will be closed Monday and Tuesday. It will open after school Wednesday-Friday.

We do not have a set closing time. When it’s quiet/very little traffic, we will close. Thanks ⛳️
