"Learn more, live more, come ALIVE...then THRIVE! When you have sought learning all your life, one thing first learned is that "the more you know, the less you know you know". I firmly believe that it's good and right to be as informed and engaged in life as possible....the result of that is Being Present in the Present. It is said "Knowledge is Power", and it certainly is! But one thing left too
unspoken in our society is this "With power comes responsibility", just the same as that essence of truly good citizens...with rights also come duties, Civics Class, Lesson 1. Further, public servants are to serve each and every one of us for the common good of us all. Today, politics is deadlocked and unable to move us and all America forward. To me, more and more of them "appear" to be people who serve themselves to money and positions of power. To me, their words and actions appear as oxymoronic utterances. Well, I strongly and firmly believe we Americans can take back our Country from bad politics and bad government. In Thomas Jefferson's letter to William C. Jarvis in 1820, completely bypassing government reach, he flatly stated "It is the responsibility of the patriot to protect his country from its government." Thomas Jefferson is my all time and forever most admired, respected American, followed by Honest Abe Lincoln. So, what I am trying to do here with Best Self Better World is to empower each and every one of you be the best you can be, that brings forth a Better World. I will try to empower you, through my products, to be as informed and engaged in your life and in America as I possibly can, helping to be "Present in the Present". I'm not going to promise you any cake walks in life, certainly not at this moment in time and history. I know the better we work, the better we make ourselves....the necessary and wonderful result automatically....voila! A Better World for you and America....creating A Whole New, Better World for us all! Nothing about or in and of Best Self Better is implied or meant or intended to be taken as advice.
