There are many Pickleball groups in Plymouth, MA that are very active.
We use the app Team Reach to sign up for various times and places.

May 2023 update:
Daily Pickleball games at Briggs Field opposite the fire station in Manomet everyday 7-9am and we welcome new people of all ages.
7 days a the week we start at 7am any day it's not raining or too wet on the courts.
If 7 is too early, just arrive before 9am :-)
We'll head inside to the Village Sports Club in Pinehills during winter.
Just show up, very casual, bring a paddle if you have one, if not we usually have spares and plenty of balls.

How to sign up and see who is playing where.

We are using the app Team Reach.
We are no longer using Player Line Up as a pickleball communications tool.

TO AVOID CONFUSION, WE SUGGEST USING ONLY TEAM REACH.

If you are not yet on TEAM reach, just download the app.

Group Codes for the app of options in Plymouth, MA

To join Team Reach for play at Briggs Field in Manomet, use code 838-State

Use the group code 41755 to join Team Reach for Forges Field.

To join Team Reach for play at Stephen's Field (located on the waterfront), use code 1620.

Anyone can join any site.

Once you are on Team Reach, go to the “calendar” icon to see the current schedule of play. If you want to play outside of those times, there are several options:

1. You can use the “chat” icon to message the entire field to see who is interested in a specific time.

2. You can go to the “box with the quill feather” and choose players to Direct Message. Only those players will see your message.

3. You can Direct Message any of the “Leaders” on any of the sites with suggestions for playing times other than those listed on the calendar icon. The “Leaders” can be found under the “icon that shows 2 people”. If the courts are available and not being used by Recreation, we can post it on the Team Reach calendar.

We are encouraging people to use this new app to find people to play with in Plymouth.
See Roger's explanation below:

"Many of us has switched to a program called TeamReach. This is a normal and free app that can be downloaded to your cell phone.

Enter code: 41755 (Forges Field)

This is a free app that facilitates communications between players who want to play pickleball. You can effortless find out who can attend an event while eliminating the need for “text chains” or group emails. Also you are in control of the notifications so you are NOT receiving unwanted text messages. Many towns in our area are using TR to communicate with pickleball players.

There are a few ways to use the app.
You can write a message to the entire group by just opening the home page and adding a comment at the bottom.
You can select members to message by going to the 5th icon (the quill pen in a box) and just message those members. (Select member, click done, write message, click send.)
By going to the calendar icon, you can see what events are happening and how many people are attending.

If you want to see how this app works in other communities, on the Team Reach home page where it says “group code”, if you add code: 02050 you can see how Marshfield’s Igo Park is using the app. Likewise if you add the code: DennisPb01 , you will get to Dennis's Pickleball site."
