Meet Liz, Eagle Lake Golf's newest instructor! We're excited to welcome Liz to our instruction team. Get to know her below, then book a private lesson and start taking your game to the next level!

Liz's passion for golf began right here at Eagle Lake, where she was introduced to the game through The First Tee at just seven years old. The lessons she learned there shaped not only her golf game, but also her love for the sport and lifelong values. Today, it is a full-circle moment for Liz to return to the same facility where her journey began and help inspire the next generation of golfers.

Liz continued her playing career at Ferris State University, where she competed all four years, earned All-Conference honors, and studied Professional Golf Management before turning professional in 2017. She began her teaching career as the Assistant Golf Professional at Midland Hills Country Club.

In 2018, Liz moved to the Washington, D.C., area, where she continued teaching at several golf facilities while working for a golf management company. After gaining valuable experience in the golf industry, she transitioned into sales before returning home to Minnesota.

In 2026, Liz returned to her alma mater, Wayzata High School, as an assistant coach for the girls’ golf team, helping lead the Trojans to a third-place finish at the Minnesota State Tournament.

Golf should be simple, positive, and fun. Liz’s coaching philosophy focuses on building solid fundamentals while helping golfers develop confidence in their own game. She believes the most powerful tool every golfer has is their mind, and that clear instruction, a positive attitude, and trust in the process lead to lasting improvement

What a great morning at the Maple Grove Days Junior Golf Tournament at Eagle Lake Youth Golf Center!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to play, as well as the families, volunteers, and staff who helped make this happen! We loved seeing so many young golfers out on the course, and we hope everyone had a blast!

Congratulations to all of our winners, and thank you for being part of another fun tradition!

With the current air quality and extreme heat, Eagle Lake will be closing at sunset today and tomorrow, Friday, July 17. As a result, the range and Birdie Course lights will not be on. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you soon.
