Let's get to know the Hit Dawg Team!!!

MEET COACH PAT FIX
Pat grew up in St Louis Park where he played baseball and basketball. His favorite baseball team growing up was the Cubs.
He has a 4 Year AA Degree from Grandview University where he played center field, but mainly second base or shortstop.
He participated in 2 National Tournaments and was a 4 time All American in college. Pat has over 17 years of coaching experience working will all age levels from t-ball to professionals.
Pat met Shawn Wooten in 2001 and has been with Hit Dawg since 2010.
He enjoys working with the Hit Dawg kids and seeing their improvements thru the hard work and effort they put in.
Pat and his wife Amy have two daughters. Taylor is a junior at St. Cloud State and Reesa is in 5th grade at Clover Ridge Chaska. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and his friends.

HIT DAWG HOLIDAY TIP

Healthy holiday eating!
Do not skip meals throughout the day.
Fill half your plate with fruits, veggies/salad and the other half with your favorite entrees and desserts.
Eat slowly and savor each bite.
Wait 10 minutes before going back for seconds if you are still hungry.
Finally, get some physical activity after dinner. Go for a walk or play a game of baseball with family or friends.

The Academy will be closed on Thursday, November 24th & Friday, November 25th for the Thanksgiving Holiday. There will not be any Academy Practices, Strength Training, or Arm Development Sessions on Thursday or Friday this week. We hope you all have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Tip of the day!
Try a health boosting smoothie for a pre/post workout meal.
This one is packed with nutrition to help you perform your best!
1 cup frozen berries, 1/2 banana, handful of spinach, handful of raw carrots, 1 tbsp flax meal, 1/2 cup plain full fat Greek yogurt and 1 cup of water or milk of your choice.
Blend and enjoy.
