The race didn't go as expected. 12 laps in, a rear wheel bearing failed sending our driver into the wall. Steve was checked and releases my the medical staff without injury. We were able to capture some on board video: https://youtu.be/fm9EA6eugfg. Thanks to all who supported the Cavette through the past 9 years. Who knows what the future may hold.

Steve completes what would be Cavette Racing's final pass on the front stretch. At the end of Turn 3 at Road America, the left rear wheel bearing fails on La...

With the excitement of finishing the race strong, we forgot to post our final result. Marco completed the final stint collecting a couple more spots to bring us home in 24th place, topping of a great second day. Many thanks to our crew Jarred and Shreyas for keeping our car fueled and running, and the people who were checking in to see the results during the weekend. We'll post some pictures and videos in the next couple days.

Tim Price is continuing Cavette Racing's march through the field. Currently in 26th place after a pit stop for fuel and a tire. Steve spirited a good run after Marco's opening stint. Halfway through Day 2 and the Yellow Machine is running smooth. Big thanks to Wimpy's Diner in Guelph. Those roast beef sandwiches hit the spot!

Someone decided it was a good idea to have their wedding photos during our race. Their day will hopefully be better than ours. A cut CV boot led to a failed joint. After the tow back to the pit, we also found a problem with the idle control valve wiring that was causing a stuck throttle condition. We dropped back to 33 but are coming up through the field again. A lot of attrition so we hope to get in a good spot tomorrow. One more hour to go today first!

Almost 3 hours in, Tim is making his way back up the field. Tom had a little off that cost about 4 laps in the pits.
