Whip’s Farm is more than 200 acres of history.
It’s a living space built for healing.
Our roots here run deep. The farm is named after Sherman “Whip” Withington whose grandfather, Sherman L. Whipple purchased the surrounding acreage from Eban Jordan of Jordan Marsh in 1910. This land has been thoughtfully preserved by that same family for decades to keep it authentic, sustainable, and active.
But why does a working farm matter for therapy?
Because true grounding happens in a place of real, everyday purpose. Whip's Farm isn't just for show. With stalls for 12 horses, active arenas, and open hay pastures, it is a thriving agricultural environment rooted in routine, rhythm, and care.
Stepping into a living, breathing farm connects you to something larger than yourself. The predictable routines of the land and the animals create a safe, stable space to discover purpose, find your footing, and heal.
