Effortless shot capture — before and after it happens
With Recoil Recording, the riflescope automatically starts recording when recoil is detected. Each file includes the moments leading up to the shot and the action that follows, preserving the full sequence without manual input.
Shadow Recording ensures you’re covered even if you press Record too late. The device continuously buffers footage and saves the seconds before activation, so critical moments are never lost.
Smoother, uninterrupted ranging
The updated laser rangefinder algorithm provides rapid distance readings without disrupting your image. No forced magnification changes, no Picture-in-Picture mode appearing — just fast, stable measurements while you stay locked on target.
Faster access. Smarter customization.
Color palette management has been redesigned for quicker switching and cleaner navigation. You can assign shortcuts and disable unused palettes for streamlined operation. A new Green palette expands viewing flexibility across varying conditions.
User Mode evolves into expanded User Settings, offering more control and functionality.
Greater ballistic clarity
The Ballistics calculator and Zeroing widget now include additional measurement units and clearer on-screen data, offering better compatibility with different shooting setups and environmental preferences.
Added refinements for everyday use
Auto Display Off turns the screen off automatically when the riflescope is tilted away from the shooting position, supporting discretion and power efficiency.
USB-C video output enables direct connection to compatible devices for viewing or transferring footage without special adapters.
Increased WiFi Settings Timeout – Provides more time for smooth initial setup and adjustments
Enhanced user interface delivers improved navigation and a more polished visual experience.
Firmware 4.1.0 further strengthens the Thermion 2 LRF platform, combining intelligent automation, precision performance, and refined usability into one cohesive upgrade.
