Hello Everyone!
As many of you know, I will be welcoming my first child here in August. After much thought and consideration, I have made the decision to step away from co****le so I can spend more time focusing on my expanding family. My final week of league will be the last week of July and my last tournament will be July 20th at the Amherst Fair.
Nearly six years ago when I started GSC, I did not have a vision for what I wanted it to become, I simply wanted to play the game more and enjoy the friendships that came with it! I can safely say it became much more than that - from having 60+ people playing in league nights to playing virtually during covid to having the opportunity to help with the Badgerland Bag Brawl, I can safely say it's been quite the journey and I've learned a lot throughout the process. All this could not have happened without the awesome group and support we have in Central Wisconsin.
More important than any of those accomplishments are the friendships I've been able to make along the way; I can truly say that I've made lifelong friends and cherished many moments with everyone. The most difficult part of this decision is having to step away from our weekly league, where I get to relax, meet new people, and spend time with close friends.
That being said, I am grateful for how much the co****le community has grown in our area, and we are blessed to have others running events here to keep co****le thriving in the area. I hope this means we can continue enjoying time together while participating in other leagues!
With the Amherst Fair tournament quickly approaching on July 20, I hope the event is filled with many close friends, and I'm looking forward to my favorite event of the year! Thanks to everyone for all the support over the years and I'm happy to be a part of the community!
