🎉 Sowers Gymnastics is officially 3 years old! 🎉

Three years ago, Sowers Gymnastics started with a dream of creating a place where athletes could grow in confidence, strength, and skill while feeling supported every step of the way. What began as an idea has grown into an incredible community, and we couldn't have done it without all of you.

To our athletes: thank you for your hard work, dedication, and the joy you bring to the gym every day.

To our parents and families: thank you for trusting us with your children and for supporting our program from the very beginning.

To everyone who has shared a post, recommended us to a friend, or cheered us on along the way: thank you. Your support has meant more than words can express.

8-week summer session registration will open tomorrow (Wednesday) . Based on the responses, there should be plenty of room. Current students only and will run June 1st-July 23rd.

You will need to resign new waivers (reminder that all policies are spelled out in these). I’m working on updating them today so they aren’t ready yet. The gym gets hot in the summer so please expect higher temperatures if you are signing up for these classes. Please note that I will not be readily available to respond to messages during this session. I will jump in when needed, but Kendall will be your primary point of contact.

Billing will be evenly distributed through the 2 months with a payment run June 1st and July 1st. If you are registered on June 1st, you are committing to the full 8 weeks in terms of payments.

Last time I did registration, I had lots of messages about accidentally signing up for the wrong class so please double check what you are registering for prior to confirming.

Meet Kendall Krichau!

Kendall has been coaching at Sowers Gymnastics for the last 3 months and has graciously offered to host an 8 week session for preschool, gymnastics 1, and gymnastics 2 June 1st-July 23rd. Classes will be offered Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings to ensure the building isn’t too hot. Spaces will be limited and will be reserved for current students.

Registration info TBD, please comment if you’re interested so we know how many of each level class to offer.

About Kendall: I have ten years of tumbling experience and am currently a junior at Iowa state studying accounting while also working as a receptionist at Inside Out Chiropractic in Altoona! I was born and raised in Pleasantville and I also love to coach volleyball!!

As we wrap up this session at Sowers Gymnastics, I just want to say thank you to all of our amazing families. Your kindness and support—especially all the sweet check-ins about me and the baby as we get closer to his arrival—have meant so much to me ❤️

I’m so proud of all the hard work the kids have put in this session! As we head into the break, I encourage everyone to keep up with stretching and strength training at home to stay strong and ready to jump back in.
