The Lucknow Gharana of Kathak at our annual showcase Vasantotsav was performed beautifully on the theme of Saavan( Monsoons).

With a medley of Bandish, nritya, nritya, bhaav, ras and technique, our Praveshika to Visharad to Nipun to adults classes, everyone put their best foot forward literally ;).

Thankyou all for wanting to be a part of Kadombori.
We recieved more than a 1000 auditions. We are overwhelmed by the love and are truly humbled.

We have decided on the final caste and we begin rehearsals tonight with our Kick off.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

VASANTSENA: A year ago we produced an amazing musical called Vasantsena. On it's anniversary I present to you some clips as a memory, as a refresher for all those who chose to do what they did in this show to make it exceptional whether on stage or as crew. I cannot thank all these women enough, who gave their all to it , their life, their time and their conviction. I would not have been able to do anything without all of you.

As I watch these clips strung together I stand humbled in the light of all your talent that shone so brightly.

Stepping into another daunting, challenging yet exciting, creative new journey with , A musical, that we begin to rehearse this September, I know that Vasantsena will always be very close to my heart.

Do you love to dance and a desire to engage in professional theater?

AUDITION CALL! After the success of Anarkali (2022-23) and Vasantsena (2025) Vaishnavi Misra returns with her next Musical Theater production, Kadombori, set to premiere in 2027.

This is a women only musical theater class that provides specialized training to women in all aspects of a musical theater production, featuring multiple performances in fall 2027.

We are presently auditioning for our ensemble cast and encourage interested individuals to contact [email protected] to audition. Please send us a 2 min video of your dance, classical semi classical or bollywood.
