Some photos from last night’s Home Brew Trivia fundraiser for Valley Humane Society. Thank you so much for your generosity, Barb McKay and and Josh McKay. And thanks to everyone who came out to McKay's Taphouse & Beer Garden in order to eat, drink and play. Local Friends, please join us again in the Beer Garden for next month's Home Brew Trivia Night fundraiser. We will "edutain" you like no one else! Also, please note that the October Trivia Night WILL NOT BE on the normal Third Tuesday of the month but rather, it will be on the SECOND Tuesday of October—October 13th. I plan to pepper the slideshow with a bunch of Halloween trivia and we encourage everyone to come out in costume-- there will be a judged contest and it will be a particularly festive evening!

A little update! Jeff and I will be introducing a new, interactive slide during our Home Brew Trivia Night fundraisers. My original thought was to have a Calamity Nan slide where I'd briefly describe my most recent mishap(s), in order to give our players a good laugh in between Rounds. But we've come up with something much better. Stay tuned! But if anyone needs a chuckle right about now, I'll share one of my funniest mishaps right here. It's from about 8 years ago.

Our twin baby grandsons love my Home Brew Trivia Almanac! It's very visually stimulating and is chock full of interesting information they will understand someday. Eventually they will be reading the Almanac to us, rather than vice versa!
