You did an outstanding job putting this all together! Taking care of all the backend work to get PPA in there and competing I know it was a lot of work but you did it and everything went amazing! Hats off to you ❤️ Aaand you did it all while getting ready to compete for yourself! Killer job.

Cole! Thank you for keeping us on track with the modifications for the athletes & keeping all the athletes safe on the floor while working out. You worked your ass off to make this all come together!! You were so attentive to the athletes while they were competing making sure each and everyone was feeling motivated to move and filling them with positive motivation every step of the way. You have a heart of gold my friend!

Everything about this event was so amazing! Thank you so much to all the staff, judges, announcers, spectators, competitors, especially the teen competitors in the same heats as our athletes! Christian’s dad speaks on his son’s journey at Puzzle Piece Athletics over the past year. As their first client at the San Ramon location, Christian faced initial challenges with coordination due to hypotonia, but has made remarkable progress. Christian and his coach Nathan have been putting in the work and getting some amazing results.

I started with one client. One location. One simple belief: that every person—no matter how they think, move, or experience the world—deserves the chance to feel strong, capable, and confident.

There wasn’t a grand plan for what this would become. I just knew I wanted to help. I wanted to create a space where neurodiverse kids—and eventually adults too—could show up exactly as they are and discover what they’re truly capable of. Not through pressure, not through comparison, but through patience, structure, and belief.

At the beginning, it was quiet. Just me, one client, and a lot of heart behind every session. But something powerful started to happen. Small wins turned into bigger ones. Moments of doubt turned into moments of “I did it.” And those moments… they spread.
One location turned into two. Then more. And now somehow, we’re here—ten locations. Ten places where people walk in unsure and walk out stronger, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.
Along the way, there’s been recognition. Features on the news, mentions in magazines, voices on the radio, conversations on podcasts. And while I’m grateful for every bit of that, the truth is—that’s never been the point.

The real impact happens in the quiet moments.
It’s in the kid who tries something new for the first time.
The one who didn’t think they could—but does.
The confidence that builds, little by little, session by session.

The smiles, the breakthroughs, the trust.
That’s what this is about.
I don’t think I’ll ever fully have the words to explain how this grew into what it is today. Because it’s more than growth—it’s people. It’s families. It’s effort, consistency, and belief stacked day after day.
And to everyone who has been part of this journey—whether you’ve trained with us, supported us, watched from a distance, or simply believed in what we’re doing—thank you.
You’re not just watching something grow.
You’re part of something that’s changing lives.
