President Steve Seo has started the WKF global seminar series! He will be traveling to 15 locations over the next 18 months spanning 4 continents and 6 countries focusing on preserving Chairman In Sun Seo’s teachings and passing them along to the next generation!

One specific area of focus will be Pyung Soo/평수 palm strikes! Through a combination of Dan Jun/ki training, drills, flow/shadowing movements and application based training, President Steve will help participants up the striking skills and tap into deep water/깊은물 details!

Palm strikes also tie directly to our Buchae/부채 fan techniques! We will be premiering the WKF Buchae form in our next seminar in Chicago in 2 weeks September 19-20th hosted by Master Oren Headen Warrior Institute of Chicago! Hope to see you there!

Official announcement: Master Guy Larke Jr. has been named the World Kido Federation International Media Liaison.

Master Larke has been a longtime friend and supporter of the WKF and Hanminjok Hapkido Association. In this new role, he will help our organization expand our visibility and global exposure through print and digital media.

His work will also play an important role in supporting the WKF’s commitment to the preservation of the original form of Hapkido ( 원형보존). By documenting and sharing the traditions, events and teachings of our art, we can help ensure that its history and legacy continue to be understood and passed on to future generations.

We're excited to announce that registration for the WKF Texas Seminar happening October 10-11, 2026 is officially open, and will feature special guest instructor WKF President Steve Seo!

This Seminar will be hosted in Austin, TX, by Masters Ricky and Meghan Garcia of Next Gen Hapkido in Austin, TX, and Master Len Trevino of Bulgyo Mu Sul in San Antonio, TX, with support from Master Kevin Anderson and PSBN Dan Atherton of Gtx Family Martial Arts, and PSBN Marc Riley of Valor Hapkido.
