Saturday, September 12 is our fall Shiai and testing.
Shiai attendance is required. Please speak with Mr. Borland if you need to be excused. The Shiai and testing will be at Lenape elementary school in New Paltz.

10am is the arrival time for anyone helping/assisting.
11:30am is the arrival time for people got a green testing notice.
1 PM arrival time for all other students.

Testing candidates should bring any sparring equipment they have, and are required to stay until the end of the Shiai at 3pm.

At 3pm, there will be a big potluck. Please bring something to share. At 5 PM, everyone is invited back to the New Paltz dojo for a celebration.

Reminder: we will not have regular classes tomorrow (9/7) for Labor Day.

BUT… we will have a pop up weapons kata review session from 10:30-11:30am. All students on weapons are welcome!

16 years!!! On September 2, 2010, TOKPV held our first class in Pleasant Valley. Way back then, we held classes in the basement of the First Presbyterian church.

The photo of Mr. Borland with Mr. Levitz, Mr. Donovan and Mr. Miller is from kanpai after that first night of classes. The other photos are some familiar faces from the 2010-2011 era.

Thanks to everyone who has been part of the dojo community over the years. We look forward to more good years ahead!
