In celebration of Labor Day, we asked some of the hard-working people behind Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District to share their very first paid job.

From first jobs to park jobs, their paths are all a little different, but each one is part of the story that brought them here.

Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District offices will be closed Monday, September 7 in observance of the Labor Day holiday and will re-open on Tuesday, September 8.

Game On, Middle School!
Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District is proud to launch the Pleasant Hill Middle School Sports Alliance offering school-based sports leagues for local students in grades 6–8!

🚩🏈 FLAG FOOTBALL is the first of three sports that will be offered this fall as part of the new Middle School Sports Alliance.

• Girls and boys teams organized by school
• School branded jerseys
• Home school and private school students welcome on the Rebels Rec & Park team
• One afterschool practice each week
• Six game season with Friday evening games at Pleasant Hill Park
• Skill Development Squad available at a discounted fee for players who are not selected for a team
