The girl on the right, was my inspiration and body goals when I first started working out (16 years ago lmfao) and like everyone’s journey I didn’t know what the f**k I was doing, all information is conflicting, and still is.

My piece of advice listen to your body, be aware of how your body naturally wants to move. Educate yourself on mobility and functional training. Work on your range of motion and strength and aesthetics will follow, along with injury prevention. I wish I knew what I know now.

4 months later and 24lbs down!!!

Super excited for Martin’s continued progress, and was even more excited to finally meet him at my best friends wedding!!! There’s something to be said about online only clients and their level of commitment and self discipline.

Martin’s ability to hop on this meal plan and stay consistent with his own training is nothing less than impressive. 60 hrs at a labor intensive job and still made time for training and meal prep!

Zero excuses!

For the first two months we stayed at maintenance calories which was more food than what he was used to and continued to drop weight.

Just goes to show that restricting calories to lose weight may not always be the answer, and in my experience it rarely is.

Age is just a number. But f**k do I look and feel better now…
Left photo training 6xweek, right photo 4xweek consistently.
When just starting out. Lay your foundation, create good habits, tell yourself and other people no, learn discipline and ride that s**t out into the sunset.
Prioritize your health and your body will reward you for years to come. I’ve fallen off, gained 20 lbs lost it, gained it.. took a whole year off from the gym during Covid but the body remembers. So treat it right.

How my slow bulk has been going… lol gained about 10lbs in my traps and 2.3lbs in sunless tanner.. that’s about it. the point of this… drastic changes have not been made because I have not been consistent. there are days I hit my 2,800kcal goal and then there’s other days I slack off, don’t get all my meals in, focus on eating trash to hit my caloric goal and don’t make it to the gym as often as what my goals require.


Make a plan and don’t deviate, you’ll reach your goals a lot sooner if you have a road map and don’t aimlessly wander in the dark looking for McMuffins. Your body will always respond to consistency and reward your efforts.

Complete body recomposition! We stayed relatively around the same body weight but decreased overall body fat percentage, specifically visceral fat.

It is possible to gain muscle and simultaneously lose fat.
🥭maintain a caloric balance that supports not only your daily activity but muscle growth as well.
🥭weight-lift minimum of 3-4 days/week.
🥭add cardio by increasing daily steps and/or adding 2-3 days of 20 minute HIIT.

The last time I worked biceps 2015 hahaha legit no lie.
Goals change, lifestyles change, but my biceps apparently don’t. LOL

Preacher curls will always be my fav.
Like any exercise, slower on the eccentri& let that muscle lengthen....

I truly believe people come in and out of your life for a reason. A year before these pictures I met a man who changed my whole approach to fitness. He made my little fitness model aesthetic goals a reality. He took me from never being able to squat a plate (135 lbs) to my heaviest squat to this date (275). He showed me what and how to eat, but mostly he educated and challenged me in a field I was becoming obsessed with.

I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t call him out 😜 thank you for your knowledge and expertise Coach ! And congratulations to you and on your engagement. Can’t wait to see the yoked ass terrorists you guys spawn lmao. 🥰

I met a lot of people the following 5 years that shaped my love and hate for the fitness industry. I made the best friends/ workout partners that trained differently. They brought new skills and tools that help me shape and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I also belonged to the one of the baddest gyms in the Bay Area

This was the mindset, the environment I needed to be in. To change, to grow, and to build undeniable confidence.

It’s time to start rebuilding.
