Hey there! Thanks to my followers and welcome newbies! 🎊 Let me take a second and (re)introduce myself.
First off, here's my cute family! Eric and I got married last August and he's my biggest supporter. Sweet Rocky is 11 and Spunky Presley is 5. 2nd to being a mom and wife, I have a fun little sweets business on the side and am currently attending school to become a physical therapist assistant. I have been a personal trainer for 1.5 years and love it.
Here why.
I love helping people discover what their bodies are capable of. I love being the person who pushes someone to do one more rep they didn't think they could possibly do. I love forming close relationships with my clients and turning a workout session into their best and most vital part of their day.
Truth is, I have always been active and find joy in taking care of my body, but I have plenty of days where I don't feel on top of the world. There are parts of me that I don't love showing off. Life doesn't slow down and it definitely doesn't get easier. But there are things we can control. Keep an open mind and a healthy body and I promise you will find it easier to climb out of life's every day slip-ups.

I'm excited for the new year and look forward to new growth and relationships. Thanks for your support, love you all! ❀

It's been a rough week. But if I'm being completely honest, it's been a rough month. Amongst the other stresses that life brings, the reality of having the metabolism of a 30 year old instead of 20 has really caught up with me.

I've never been one to look at my weight, and always advise others to do the same. Eating healthy, being active, and listening to how my body feels is the best way to live. Well, it is difficult to follow my own advice when I'm seeing the numbers rise and rise. It is discouraging. I'm eating right and consistently working out. What am I doing wrong?

Luckily today I had a breakthrough.

Doing back squats today, I was able to lift 10 lbs more than last month. My body has been working hard and I was foolish enough to get discouraged by a number on a machine.

So here is a reminder for all of us: Our bodies are capable of doing amazing things. Don't give up on it, and it won't give up on you. Never stop pushing past your comfort zone. You're amazing your body is beautiful, and you CAN do it.
