Did you know that Holmes Creek Headwaters Ranch is the nearest Controlled Shooting Area to Lincoln, Nebraska, providing upland hunters with an extended hunting season?
A Controlled Shooting Area, commonly referred to as a CSA, is a privately owned or leased space designated for hunting pheasants, quails, chukars, Hungarian partridges, and mallards throughout a prolonged season. We operate as a commercial facility that enables hunters to pursue game birds in a regulated environment, offering tailored paid hunting experiences to the public in Nebraska. Our half-day hunts include 20 pheasants, while full-day hunts feature 40. These birds can be exchanged for quail and chukars, and any birds that escape are left in the wild to contribute to the repopulation of Nebraska's wild and native bird species.
Our Upland Hunting Season spans from October 15th to April 1st each year, allowing you more time to relish the sport of upland game hunting. If you are interested, please visit our website at www.hunt-nebraska.com.
