Adirondack Dance Company & Liturgical Dance Troupe is a non-profit ballet company located on beautiful Lake Champlain in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. Although only in existance for 9 years, the Director has many years of experience with former dance companies. The Company draws dancers and audiences from the counties of Clinton, Essex & Franklin. Adirondack Dance Company actively promotes

collaboration with other arts organizations, including area dance studios, professional dancers and choreographers. In the spring, the Company presents An Evening of the Arts - an evening of classical and contemporary dance along with collaborations with other arts groups. Groups invited in the past to perform are the After Five Brass, the Champlain Valley Irish Dancers, Chazy Music Theatre, ALEE String Quartet and Adirondack Regional Theatre. Classical performance works include: " Degas - The Ballet", "Swan Lake Act 2", "Cinderella Suite", "The Firebird", "Alice in Wonderland", "Beauty & the Beast", "Les Patineurs", "Snow White", "The Little Mermaid" and "The Snow Queen". The Company also performs contemporary works such as "Breath of the Rainforest", "Drums", "Internal Dialogue" and a Rebecca Kelly piece, "Made of the Dark". The Liturgical Troupe ( in existance for 20 years) enhances worship services and dances at area nursing homes, the annual Food Shelf concert and assisted living facilities. The Troupe recently traveled to the United Methodist General Conference in Texas. Hospice services are an outreach for the troupe with the emotional dance "Like a Candle" in honor of the people who had died under Hospice care during the previous 6 months. Along with the other activities, the Company holds summer intensive schools and workshops. The Company holds open auditions for all productions and welcomes all! www.adirondackdance.com

“My favorite scene that I’m in is Poppies. I really like the artistic quality and flow of the dance. One that I’m not in that I enjoy watching is hoedown because it’s very upbeat and funny.”

Amiya is dancing as Hoedown, Tornado🌪️, Poppy, Snow, Emerald City, and Jitterbug.

“My favorite part of the show is the Emerald City scene because it is revitalizing at the end of the show to have such an energetic and happy number. “
