Coming down 29 south right now, with a lot of emotions. Today was the last day of the 2019/2020 Canada and Whitefront goose season. We did not fire a shot today or the day before. However Tuesday Jay and I was fortunate enough to shoot a couple banded Canadas. Today also was my last day as a outfitter and for Iron Duck Hunting.. I have been blessed doing this since 2006. Freelanced guiding for waterfowl and turkey since the late 80's Been hunting waterfowl for 54 years. I left Ford Motor Company in 2006 and started guiding full-time and training and raising AKC Labradors. Raising my youngest son Derek from 6th grade till he graduated from high school. Being a outfitter enabled me to be a full time dad and run a business. Derek will graduate from Missouri Western University this May. I met a lot of incredible amazing people while outfitting. Brent Frezee and Kenny Kieser THANK YOU for all the articles you wrote about IDH. I loved most getting to hunt with my sons Damon ,Derek, Davin, my grandson, Monica my niece,and my brother Mike.
