💜 Women-Owned Business Spotlight: HD Academy

💙 Favorite Community Event: My favorite Mineral Point event is the Street Dance!

🛎 Favorite Product/Service: One of my favorite programs we offer at HD Academy is our You + Me class and our Tiny Twirls class. These classes are designed for our littlest dancers, (You + Me 18 months-2 year olds with an adult, and Tiny Twirls ages 2-3) These classes are all about creative movement, imagination, music, and FUN! We use lots of fun props and activities to keep little bodies moving and minds engaged. These classes are simply a fun, low-pressure way to try dance, spend some time together, and introduce little ones to the joy of dance. There aren't a ton of activities available for this age group, which is one of the reasons I'm so happy to offer these classes. Watching their little personalities come out as they dance, play, explore, and gain confidence is the BEST!

Congratulations to our September “Caught In The Spotlight” award winners. Our new monthly award is awarded to dancers who show great work ethic, awesome practice habits, kindness, bravery, commitment and so much more! We are so excited to acknowledge our dancers for all they do! We are blessed with the best crew!

At the end of the month all dancers who earned the award will be entered in for a goodie bag! Congratulations to September’s winner…Pari Patel! 💜

HD Academy has made it to Texas! We are so excited to be performing at Showstoppers National Dance Competition this week! HD Academy’s Mini and Junior Teams attend Legacy Dance Championships Nationals in the Wisconsin Dells last week! We had so much fun closing out our season on the Legacy stage!

💜 Mini Team-Miss Congeniality earned a special judges award, “Queens of the Stage” and earned a Platinum 9th place overall!

🖤 Junior Rising Jazz-Little Miss Bossy earned an Elite Gold and 9th overall!

💜 Junior Rising Hip Hop-Girl Gang earned a special judges award, “Girl Power” and earned a Platinum 3rd place overall finish!

The growth and progress these teams make from the start of the year to the end is so impressive to watch! I’m blessed with an incredible group of dancers and I’m so lucky I get to spend as much time with them as I do! Great job Minis and Juniors, I’m so proud of you!! 💜
