We love that every athlete, and every experience in the sport, is unique. We have been fortunate to partner with over 100 athletes, and in that process have gotten to be a part of over 100 different journeys.

To celebrate, we're offering new coaching clients the opportunity to test drive 100 days (3+ months) of our Base Camp level coaching for just $100 (normally $59/month).

To take advantage of this offer, email ([email protected]), send us a DM, or complete the athlete inquiry form on our website (link in bio). No commitment after 100 days; any months at standard, posted rates. All plans include a full intake & collaboratively constructed training built around your goals and your life. Offer valid thru April 16th or to the first 10 new clients, whichever comes first. As always, give us a shout if you've got any questions!

We're excited to join your team and to be a part of your story!

๐Ÿ† Marathon Margaret ๐Ÿ†

๐ŸŽ This weekend Margaret made their *2nd* marathon debut at the Apple Dumpling Day Marathon after their 1st marathon attempt was canceled due to lightning ๐ŸŒฉ๏ธ

๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป Despite an unplanned extra week of training Margaret crushed 26.2, running 3:23:02 - well under their goal of a BQ - feeling strong (we know there's more in the tank ๐Ÿ‘€).

Margaret is undefeated in the marathon so anyone willing to challenge them will have to do so at their next marathon: Boston 2023 ๐Ÿ˜ค

Congratulations Margaret! Your persistence and positivity through the waves of training and racing is inspiring ๐ŸŽ‰

โš ๏ธ PR Alert โš ๏ธ

๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Last weekend Tim ran his 50k PR at the Gravel Worlds Land Ho 50k.

โฑ๏ธ He finished 5th in a time of 3:55:43.

๐Ÿ—จ๏ธ Tim's goal was to run within himself and have fun. He was able to stay in the moment and knows he can run way faster if he trained specifically for the 50k distance and figured out nutrition.

โžก๏ธ Up next for Tim is some downtime and then training for Club Cross Country Nationals in December.

๐ŸŽ‰ Great job Tim!! Enjoy your break, it's well deserved.

๐Ÿ† Trophy Talk ๐Ÿ†

Colton Forster is the newest champion of the CRANDIC half marathon in Iowa ๐Ÿฅ‡ with a time of 1:12.02, which is a shiny new PR ๐ŸŒŸ as well. Accomplishing 2 of his 3 goals (PRโœ”๏ธ + winโœ”๏ธ) has us pretty excited and has him well on his way to his 3rd goal of breaking 70 minutes in the half ๐Ÿ’ช

โฑ๏ธFun Race Fact: Colton won by almost 4:00 minutes!ย

๐Ÿค“One thing learned in the race/training: โ€œI can still run pretty decently fast off low mileage and consistent trainingโ€ฆI seem to respond very well to just pure mileage and tempo work, +ย  a little volume of anaerobic stuff. My biggest thing is just staying healthy and getting consistent training inโ€

๐ŸคคThe post-race fuel we all need to try:Pizza hut and a banana ๐Ÿ•๐ŸŒ

Colton is looking forward to a big trail run on May 21st ๐Ÿฅพ and then a good old 4th of July ๐ŸŽ† 8k race back in his hometown. Congratulations Colton! ๐ŸŽ‰

๐Ÿšจ PR Alert ๐Ÿšจ
Max Hartke ran the 5k at the UW-Platteville Invitational last Friday and not only accomplished his goal of running sub 15:00 ๐Ÿ‘, but CRUSHED his previous PR ๐Ÿ’ช. He ran 14:49 โฑ๏ธ placing 25th overall (out of 121).
From Max himself:
๐ŸŽ–๏ธBiggest takeaway: "You can still run fast when you don't feel good"
(cont. in comments)

โœ…One thing learned in the race/training: "Make sure you do the little things like stretching, mobility, strength, and recovery"
โšกFirst thing consumed after race: "Bolt energy chews"
๐ŸคMax would recommend this race to others looking to run a fast 5k.
Up next for Max is the 1500m at Phil Esten Challenge at UW-LaCrosse ๐Ÿฆ… Congratulations Max ๐ŸŽ‰ & good luck this weekend๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผ

Congrats to Rachel (and her entire cheering section) on a phenomenally executed debut marathon this past weekend, finishing with a big BQ and top 10 finish! Rachel rode the waves of race day & the entire training cycle leading up to it like an absolute veteran. She perfectly embodied the individual journey to the finish line & found out some incredible things along the way. Super proud & pumped to see all that is still to come!
