🫣Avoid to train : the behind-the-neck lat pulldown (jalón tras nuca)! 🚨

1. Excessive shoulder external rotation:😵
* The exercise forces the shoulders into an extreme position.
* This can increase stress on the rotator cuff and shoulder joint.

2. Forward head posture:🫪
* To get the bar behind the head, many people push the neck forward.
* This can place unnecessary stress on the cervical spine (neck vertebrae).

3. Higher injury risk:🫨
* People with limited shoulder mobility are at greater risk of impingement, rotator cuff irritation, or neck discomfort.

4. No extra muscle benefit
* Research shows that pulling the bar to the front of the chest activates the lats just as effectively, without the added stress on the neck and shoulders.

😍What an Amazing Weekend!

What an incredible weekend in South Florida with an absolutely phenomenal group of students! 💪🔥
Our class was energetic, hands-on, and full of learning. Students practiced real-world skills like caliper measurements, body composition testing, carbon-in-pulse techniques, and all the essential knowledge they need to pass the National Accredited Exam.

As a company, we are committed to preparing every student to confidently enter and succeed in the fitness industry — and this group showed so much enthusiasm, passion, and dedication. 🙌

This weekend we also had our youngest student at 18 and our oldest at 70, both absolutely ready to make their mark in the fitness world. Age is truly just a number when you have purpose and drive. 💥

And a very special mention to Nick, a student who first trained with us 10 years ago and returned to refresh his education and elevate his knowledge for the clients at his own studio. We value education — and we value students like him who never stop growing. 🙏💙

Our workshop gathered incredible students from Maryland, Virginia, and DC — full of energy and ready to conquer the fitness world. 💪

From practicing skinfold caliper & circumference measurements, learning assessment protocols, and diving into movement plans & effective routines, to mastering CPR skills and understanding the power of heart rate monitors for optimal calorie burn — our students gained the tools to level up their careers. 🚀

They even explored PNF techniques and wrapped up the weekend with an inspiring Q&A session led by our director and instructor, Moni D. 🙌
