Spring Training Overview
Game 2
Iowa 3 UWM 2
Mack Miller was fantastic on the mound as he scattered 7 hits over 6 innings. Milwaukee held the lead until the bottom of the 6th and were unable to answer. The two runs were scored on RBI hits from Alex Elliott and Mack Miller.

Game 3
Oklahoma St. 6 UWM 3
Ryan King was very effective in his innings pitched as he had all of his pitches working which allowed him to strike out the side for the first time in his career he believes. One bad inning was the downfall for Milwaukee as this one slipped away. Runs scored on RBI hits from Eli Rawinski and Tyler Wendt.

Game 4
UWM 17 Bowling Green 2
This one got out of hand behind Matt Willems who was dominate in his 3 innings pitching. Also the fact that Milwaukee was able to put up 9 in the second and 7 in the third behind patient and timely hitting. Andy Velazquez came in in the 4th and was effective only giving up 2 hits and. Austin Freiboth had a break out game going 2-3 with 3 runs and 3 RBI's

Game 5
UWM 11 SUNY-Brockport 5
Wilson "the Swiss army knife" Belknapp was proved his value as he put on his pitching cap and held Brockport to 4 runs, only one earned. Milwaukee Hitters were at it again with timely hitting from Tyler Wendt and Jack Glosson. New addition Vince Markello came in to shut the door and was effective in his first club outing.

Milwaukee Club Baseball is back in action as they start their spring season in Plant City, FL. First game on the schedule was UW-Madison DII. MKE got off to a great start when Tyler O'Brien hit the first pitch to right field for a double. Milwaukee would then go on to load the bases but unfortunately couldn’t push one across. Milwaukee would go on to load the bases in the second but still couldn’t break the seal. They would end up getting a run in the third and fourth but that would be all they could push across for the day.
Sam Watters was assigned with starting the first game back in action. He would start off rocky but would leave the bases loaded in the first. He would then give up 3 in the second and 9 in the third. That would be the end of the day for Watters finishing with 3 IP, 7 H, 6 ER, 1 K, 6 BB. After Watters, Wendt came in to chuck. He was unable to stop the runs from coming across as 3 more runs came in securing the disappointing run-rule loss.
Takeaways: We should probably practice.
Short turn around as Milwaukee will be back on the field today as they face the nationally ranked Iowa at 11:30 am. Mack Miller will be taking the hill for Milwaukee. They will then play again against Oklahoma State at 2 pm with Ryan King on the mound bringing the heat.
