Almost halfway through growing this baby 🤰🏽✨ …just another reminder of how incredible women’s bodies truly are.🥹
My first trimester included a lot of naps, a lot of rest, and honestly… not a ton of workouts. But now that I’m feeling better, I’m back to focusing on maintaining my strength.
I’ve always found it interesting how gentle we are with women during pregnancy — and yes, there are absolutely things we should be mindful of — but we’re also doing something unbelievably powerful while growing our babies.
As a prenatal + postpartum professional, I believe that if you’re cleared by your healthcare provider and you have the energy, keeping up your strength during pregnancy can be incredibly supportive.💪🏽
That said… postpartum is where I tend to encourage more patience, healing, and honoring recovery. Different seasons. Different needs. Same incredible body. 🤍
To my fellow mamas — did movement look different for you during pregnancy? I’d love to hear your experience ↓🤗
