So proud of these two for representing Plano East on the biggest stage in Texas Track & Field!

🏃🏻‍♀️ Caitlyn Tran — 5th Place | 13.90 at UIL State
🏃🏽‍♂️ Malachi Terry — 8th Place | 21.05 at UIL State

The hard work, dedication, and perseverance it took to get here was incredible to watch. Competing at the State Meet is an amazing accomplishment, and these two gave it everything they had. Proud of the season, proud of the journey, and proud of them both! The future is bright! 🔥🐾💛🖤

🔥 STATE BOUND & RECORD BREAKERS 🔥

These two have been putting on a show all season long.

🏃🏻‍♀️ Caitlyn Tran rewrote the school record in the 100M Hurdles… then came back and broke her own record again two more times.

🏃🏽‍♂️Malachi Terry shattered the school record in the 200M… then lowered it again.

From competing on one of the biggest stages at the Texas Relays in Austin to now heading back to Austin for the UIL State Track & Field Championships, their hard work, consistency, and dedication have been nothing short of special.

They don’t just compete, they raise the standard.

Plano East is proud of you both. Wishing you the best of luck as you represent the Black & Gold at State!🍀💨

Our girls from Cross Country and Track & Field had the opportunity to visit Murphy Middle School and speak with future Panthers about Cross Country, Track, leadership, and the dedication it takes to compete at the next level.
