Last summer, Michael, one of our First Five athletes here helped these outstanding throwers get their start at NEXT THROW.
Lyla broke her school record, threw a lifetime PR, and earned All-State honors as a sophomore.
Kameron put together an incredible season and finished as a State Champion in the shot put.
Michael went on to have a special year himself at GVSU, winning a National Championship in the men’s hammer throw.
One of the things we’re most proud of is watching athletes come back and invest in the next generation.
Michael will be working with a small group of throwers again this summer, sharing the lessons he learned on his journey from young thrower to National Champion.
Excited to see what this next group can accomplish.
