The Shamrock School of Irish Dance Irish Dance Instruction in Plainville CT! We take pride in teaching dance to kids of all levels and ages. Our school is one big happy family.

It's our goal to enrich kids of the Irish culture with all types of Irish dancing. No one is left out and everyone is treated equal. Dance Classes are fun and the performances and competitions are even better! Our classes are low stress and we have noncompetitive students as well as competitive but either way classes are still fun and enjoyable. We have three instructors on staff. Sheila Stevens, Shannon Barry and Caitriona Johnson and two assistant teachers Mairead Barry and Shaela Barry.

Our Shamrock girlies danced their hearts out today and it truly showed! We are so proud of their dedication, teamwork, and passion. Their hard work paid off with some wonderful placements!

🌟 Charlotte – 14th Place, Traditional Set U16

🌟 **NERO 2025 – Day 1 Recap!** 🌟
Our little Shamrockers lit up the stage last Friday! They danced beautifully, and we are beyond proud of their hard work, courage, and dedication leading up to the event. 💚✨

While we didn’t bring home any recalls on Day 1, we did walk away with something just as important, team spirit, joy, and memories made together. Watching our dancers support one another and celebrate each moment was truly the highlight of the day.

Competitions will always come and go, but how we respond to challenges is what shapes us. It’s in these moments when things don’t go exactly as hoped that real character is built. And let me tell you, our Shamrockers showed heart, grace, and resilience in abundance. 🍀❤️

Onward and upward, there’s always another stage, another chance, and another opportunity to shine. ☘️💫
