Certificate for the First Responder Instructor Course I took in December. Now I can certify Fire, EMT, and Tac Medics to carry on duty. Currently Texas certified instructor in License To Carry, School Safety, and First Responder. Also certified pistol instructor and range safety officer.

Went to the DPS Training Center and successfully completed the 3 day First Responder Instructor Level Course. I am able to train Firemen, EMT, and Tac Medics to carry while on duty. Great training and enjoyed my time there.

Heading back to Florence Texas to the DPS tactical training center for the First Responders Course. This training will allow me to be an instructor to qualify fire and EMT personnel to carry a firearm while preforming their duties.

I will be over there for three days of training and qualification. I have been waiting for this course for almost 2 years. They only take 20 people per class. This will be my last instructor class I can obtain for the state of Texas.

I will have LTC Instructor, School Safety Instructor, and First Responder Instructor.
Should be fun.

So it is all done. G***k 17 Gen 5 mos but, really only G***k in name.

The slide is cut, barrel is ported, also flush/crown. Put a Primary Arms red dot and tall co witness blacked out iron sights. It has a high guality heavy tungsten return spring and billet striker.

The frame has a 3.5 pound trigger and housing. Installed a flared magazine well. Has talon pro grip tape. Light is a streamlight TLR-1 HL mostly for weight and balance.

Shot it today and hit the ten ring at 110 feet. Then came back to 20 feet and hit the X. Had about 1 inch deviation over 90 feet. The thing has very little recoil and follow up shots are quick. Fired 5 shots in 1.24 seconds and hit my target in the chest with all 5.

Picked up another school for July on short notice (training 3 schools in July). Heading over to Strawn ISD for 3 days of training. Got to keep the kiddos safe.

Got the LTC training done yesterday. Had a good time and I hope everyone learned a lot. We got rained on a little. Had to hold up a few minutes to wait for it to stop. It all worked out and everyone qualified well.

Working on an ammunition order for LTC classes and Guardian. Also for personal training. Will need to be resupplying he 380 ACP, 9mm, 40 cal, and 45 ACP. We shoot a lot of bullets in all aspects of our training. Next will be resupplying targets.

Next school for training has arrange with us, two training sessions. We will conduct two separated sessions to train a total 10 guardians. This trip will take us about an 8 hour drive from Plainview.
