It is with great sadness I write this post. The birth of Downtown Dojo happened with the loving support of my Uncle Bob. He passed away yesterday. Many of our students from our first year or two will remember him there assisting with teaching and supporting their growth. he will truly be missed by all that knew him. He showed proof to all that a disability only stopped you if you let it.

We are no longer Downtown Dojo Karate Academy but we are 570 Karate Club. Classes are Saturday mornings at 11 at the Plains American Legion Post #558 , in the Basement .Come and class and sign up! We can't wait to see you.

It's almost time for class! I'm excited and I hope you all are too! Sensei Dennis Puhalla Jr. and I will be teaching some awesome stuff today. Hopefully not snow shovel techniques. We are expecting snow but I hear it's coming after class so we should be good to go!

First Class is in the books and we had an amazing turn out for just putting the word out! Come out Next Saturday , we want to double the class. We have room for 45 more students.
