A little over $18 in parts, with parts bought in bulk with the lowest rates, to build a double #8 Colorado Mechacockatoo with .040 Mag blades. Unlike the blades everyone else uses, the Mags do not warp. The oversized clevises allow the blades to start up right away and spin freely on the .0625 wire. Over the past few years I have made improvements to the design of my blades to offer a product that will last over time and withstand the abuse of many fish. Only blades I will throw. It's not because I make them and want to feel the satisfaction of catching fish on a bait I built, but because they are a proven fish catcher and muskies can put a little temporary bend in them but they can't KILL them.
