⚓ Boat & Trailer Cleanup – Starting Now ⚓

The board has approved a property-wide walkthrough to check that all boats and trailers have proper member numbers and current 2026/27 blue tags. Non-compliant items will be photographed and marked with a red tag — please don't remove or tamper with a red tag until a board member has verified compliance in writing.

If your item gets tagged, a board member will reach out, or you can contact the VP directly at [email protected]. Active members will have 30 days to get things squared away.

We're also identifying boats/trailers left behind by former members, which will be handled with certified letters, with a 30-day window before removal.

Thanks for helping us get this long-overdue cleanup done! 🙌

Quick reminder about the dumpster at the club:

Please only toss club related stuff in there and make sure it fits inside the dumpster. There have been many items that have been placed on the side of the dumpster. The trash company will never take this. If you put something there already, please clean it up properly ASAP.

If you have something big, break it down/cut it up so it fits, or plan to haul it off yourself. Boxes should also be broken down so they are not wasting space.

Also worth remembering: it is shared by all members and only gets picked up on Tuesdays. If it looks full, just hang onto items that you can delay a bit longer instead of leaving it on the ground next to it.

There are cameras but we don’t want to be the trash police so please follow these guidelines.

🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 What a fantastic Fourth of July celebration at Deer Creek Recreation Club! 💙🤍❤️🇺🇸

Despite the storm rolling in during setup, our incredible Recreation team pulled everything together and made sure our community celebration was one to remember. Their hard work, flexibility, and dedication truly shined through!

A huge thank you to Wildeye for providing an amazing evening of live music and keeping the energy going all night long. You helped make the celebration extra special!

Most importantly, thank you to everyone in our Deer Creek community who came out to celebrate, laugh, eat, and enjoy the holiday together. Thank you to the Jungman family for the pulled meat. Events like these remind us what makes Deer Creek such a special place to call home.

And of course, a very special thank you to the Miller family for another spectacular fireworks show. Year after year, it never disappoints and continues to be a highlight of our Fourth of July celebration.

Thank you all for making this year’s celebration such a wonderful time. Here’s to community, tradition, and making memories together. 🇺🇸🎆🎸❤️
