Big shoutout to our Lake Director for spending one of his few days off at this morning’s board meeting and then mowing around Long Lake.

The Lake Director position is not always an easy one, and it often comes with more criticism than thanks. Today is a good reminder that a lot of the work being done is behind the scenes and on personal time.

Thank you for helping keep Long Lake looking nice so everyone can enjoy it. It is appreciated.

Update on Fallen Tree

The road is now open.

Thank you very much to everyone who helped respond and get this taken care of today. We appreciate the quick effort and teamwork from everyone involved.

There is a very large tree than broke off far down the hill during the storm last night. Until this tree is properly removed, the main road to the back campground is closed. Please take the low road to bypass this from both sides and don’t move the cones.

It will probably take all weekend to get this cleaned up properly. Good new is there will be plenty of free firewood in the brush pile once it is all cleaned up.

If you have a boat stored at the club it is your responsibility to keep your area clean and clear. If this is not dealt with in a timely fashion, you could be subjected to a fine.

Please take a look and attend to any overgrowth as needed.

🎥 GOLF CART DRIVE IN MOVIE NIGHT ON THE TRAP FIELD!!!

Everyone is welcome to join us for a fun filled evening! Popcorn, hot dogs and candy will be provided to enjoy during your movie experience! Please bring any drinks you like. If you prefer to lay a blanket down or enjoy from your camping chairs, please bring these items for yourselves. Please consider coming early to get your favorite spot and grab some concessions!

Can’t wait to see all of you there!!!

Also of note, the Price family will be hosting a fish fry at the beach pavilion earlier that same evening. I’m told the start time will be around 5pm.

New archery targets are up and retro go. They’re suitable for bows and crossbows up to 450 fps. They’re rated for field point only so ABSOLUTELY NO broad heads! So second on out and stay sharp for summer 3D or the 26 deer season which is only 132 days away but who’s counting.
