Congrats to the 14U Tornadoes as they took home more hardware this weekend from Indiana. A great all-around effort from the whole team! This is the Tornadoes' 4th tournament championship this Spring out of 6 with the other two as runner-ups.

The Tornadoes beat the Tinley Park Bobcats 14U 7 to 6 in a back and forth game. The Tornadoes finally took the lead in the 6th inning by scoring 4 runs. The boys had a clean game with no errors.

The Tornadoes took home more hardware this weekend and kept their undefeated 11-0 streak alive. They took an early lead to an 11-2 victory. The team racked up 10 hits in the finals. Bathan, Mendoza Jr., and Finn each managed multiple hits for the Tornadoes. Mendoza Jr and Bathan each collected 3 hits to lead the Tornadoes. Bathan went for the long ball in the 4th inning with a game-ending 2-run homer. The lefty, Sam Finn, got the win on the mound, only allowing 2 runs, and dishing out 7 strikeouts in 4 innings.

#99 Johnny Mendoza, right fielder starts off a TRIPLE PLAY to end the top of the 2nd. There were 2 on, no outs. The 1-2 pitch was shot to right field. Johnny gloves it, fires to Ryan at 2nd, then to Chase at 1st. Tornadoes beat the Dixon Rebels 10-3. Nathaniel Osterello was the winning pitcher for the Tornadoes. Keeping their record to 6-0.
