At Pollaro's Martial Arts we offer two forms of self-defense that blend very well together: Jeet Kune Do Concepts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. We focus on making training practical, teaching students both self-perfection and self-preservation regardless of experience, age, or physical ability. Our instructor, Nick Pollaro, is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is certified in the Filipino Martial Arts under Patrick Robinson (choke-u.com).

Today one of our youth competitors showed incredible technique and composure, earning a clean submission victory. 💪
In jiujitsu, it’s not about strength — it’s about skill, timing, and respect. Both kids showed amazing sportsmanship, and that’s what truly matters on the mats. 🙌

For those of you who got to meet him, you met a real hero dog who as his owner would tell you- saved her life.
