The 60th Annual Miller Lite Joliet Amateur is in the books after two beautiful days of weather.

Connor Gray from Winnetka and a sophomore at Kenyon College in Ohio was the champion this year. He shot 65 in the 1st Round and followed it up with a 66 to finish the tournament at 131 (-11).

Dusty Drenth from Davenport, Iowa and a past champion in 2014 & 2017 finished in 2nd place. Dusty had the 1st Round lead with a 64 and followed that up today with a 72 to finish at 136 (-6).

Luke Kruger from Arlington Heights finished in 3rd place with a two day total of 137 (-5) after rounds of 68-69.

Big thank you to Kozol Bros for their sponsorship of the event.

Wedgewood G.C. Superintendent Dan McDonald and his staff deserve a HUGE thank you as they had the course in excellent condition and the greens were absolutely perfect for the 156 participants.

The 1st Round of the 60th Miller Lite Joliet Amateur is in the books.

80 players made the cut which fell at 74 (+3).

Two time past champion Dusty Drenth (2014 & 2017) has the lead after a 64 (-7). Connor Gray is in 2nd place after a 65 (-6). Brody McCarthy and Hayden Henry are tied for 3rd place after they both shot 66 (-5).

Tee times for tomorrow’s 2nd Round start at 7:00am off both #1 & #10 with the leaders going off #1 at 9:00am.

Congratulations to our champion Will Caronchi who shot 71-66 for a total of 137 (-5).

Will Troy and Jason Gordon tied for 2nd at 139 (-3).

Adam Tatro, A.J. Balulis, John Wild, Robert Beaubien & Josh Kirkham tied for 4th at 140 (-2).

Thank you to all of our staff and Course Sup’t Dan McDonald and his staff for having the course in fantastic shape!
