Hello. This morning again, I only have a Minnie Mouse update. I got all 50 right handed stitches in yesterday during the Cubs game but I got about 20 left handed stitches in before I went to bed. I'm hoping to finish the black part under the ear. Tomorrow is a travel day. I want to start on something that I can do easily in the car. I will likely start on the face so I can backstitch the eyes when I'm done. I know I always say it, but there's a lot of backstitching in this project I will need to keep up on.

I might get back the Cars project tonight. However, it looks like the next time I will get any significant progress on the Cars project will be Sunday morning.

Hello. I'm glad I got some decent progress on Lightning McQueen yesterday. I still don't like the eyes. I may change them a little bit. They look a little creepy in my opinion. The door is a bit detailed. That'll be a good project for tonight.

As for my stitching, obviously that got put a bit off to the side. I got to the top of the ear. I have some things I need to attend to today. After that, I should have some good time for stitching. I will load a couple pre-threaded needles into the project and have that ready for my downtime today.

I didn't get much done yesterday, but I definitely had a great time with the kids. We ran down to Macomb, Illinois for disc golf, fried chicken and ceramics painting. I'm certainly hoping to get down there in the next 2-3 weeks to pick up what we painted. We certainly enjoy the Crafty Coop. She had a really good selection of things to paint. She also has adoptable kitties. Chicken wise, Chicks on the Square is my wife's favorite. We definitely had to bring her some take-home. We also had to stop at The Bird's Nest on the south side of the Square. I always enjoy visiting and getting the floss I need for my next project. 

Stitching wise, I was happy that my daughter drove about half of the day. It allowed me to get stitching in on Minnie's lower ear.

I got some of the pre-graphing work done on Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater. I hope to get them both done by the end of the week, but it will take a lot of work to make it happen.

Just a quick update to start the weekend. I'm a little lost from how I normally do this. I will probably work my way to the bottom and then go back to the top. However I will not work left to right since some of this blue was put in left-handed. I'm starting the morning with a black needle in Minnie's lower ear. It should provide plenty of stitching fun for me today and tomorrow. While I'm out and about today, I will find the color for Minnie's face. Hopefully a lot of stitching today. However, also hopefully a lot of designing tonight.

Hello! We're pretty much done with the design. I started stitching Minnie Mouse last night as we were watching TV. Mom always stitched the ice first. It just worked out that I started with the nose and went over to the eyes. Today, I hope to finish the whites in her eyes and then start working on her face.

Another week has rolled around. It is WIP Wednesday. Let's see what you're working on this week. We have had stitchers generally share their projects. Let's see yours no matter what the medium is.

Of course we're starting with stitching projects. Here's the latest on Minnie Mouse. I just need to design these tulips and I'm ready to start stitching. When I do start, I will start in the nose.

On the Angels logo, it is time for the navy blue. I will start in one place under the light here at home and go all the way around. We'll see how that works.

Hello. Happy Memorial Day weekend. It's a travel day today and I tomorrow. Today my daughter is moving home from school. Tomorrow we might do something fun while she's home for two weeks.

The last couple days have been pretty busy. I did find the brick wall at Disney so here is my interpretation of that. Some flowers will go in behind Minnie and this one will be ready to stitch.

I did get to the bottom of the left side of the A. I'm going to fill that in and start the navy blue this weekend. I was hoping to have it done yesterday, but again, life got in the way. I might give this some time tonight at least to finish up the rest of the red.

Good morning! It is WIP Wednesday. I am really hoping to see more projects this week. Let's see what you're working on either fiber arts or otherwise.

I was able to finish the castle last night. I have to start the brick wall Minnie is sitting on. Then I just have some flowers to add and this one is ready for stitching.

I finished the light red last night. I have not re-threaded the dark red yet. Here's how it looks with the rest of the MLB standings. I was hoping to finish this before the weekend. That might be very optimistic at this point. There's been a couple nights I've not stitched very much. It might be early next week when it's done.

Here is the latest update on the Los Angeles Angels logo. I don't know if I will design or stitch tonight. If I could get Cinderella's castle done tonight, I would love to. I would also like to finish the lighter red so I can go back to the darker red. I'll have an update from the office tomorrow morning.

Just as a reminder, tomorrow is WIP Wednesday. Get those pictures ready. Caron showed us her projects last week. (I'm hoping for an update on her projects!) What will you show us this week?
