Gregory has been working with his teacher, David, on mastering his starfish position — building the body control, confidence, and relaxation he needs to float independently. 💦

And he’s getting better and better every day! 🙌

**THIS IS NOT JUST A SWIMMING LESSON 💙**

Swimming lessons aren’t just about learning to swim fast or covering long distances.

Sometimes, they’re about **survival.**

Learning simple skills like staying calm, floating on your back, making your way to the wall and climbing out of the pool independently can give children important tools if they ever unexpectedly find themselves in the water.

They may look like simple skills, but **they can be life-saving skills.**

It’s not just about teaching kids to swim. It’s about teaching them what to do when it matters most. 💙🏊‍♀️

💙 This is so much more than a swimming lesson.

At just 2 years old, Lily Ann is confidently performing a back float and pop-up to breathe—an important survival skill that could make all the difference in an emergency.

For her mum and dad, this has been the first summer they’ve been able to enjoy time around the pool with the confidence of knowing Lily Ann has the skills to help keep herself safer in the water. There’s no greater peace of mind than watching your child enjoy the pool with confidence.

That said, no swimming skill replaces active adult supervision. Always keep your eyes on your children whenever they're in or around the water.
