Sometimes people walk through our doors looking for a workout.

Sometimes they find something much bigger.

Kelly’s story is a reminder that strength isn’t always measured in pounds lifted, classes taken, or milestones reached. Sometimes strength is rebuilding your life one day at a time. 🥹

“Two years ago, a friend encouraged me to try The Salt Barre during one of the hardest seasons of my life.

My first class was with Myra, and I was instantly hooked. She gave me a strength and confidence I didn’t realize I had, and from there I met an entire community of instructors who quickly became like family.

What started as a simple class became life-changing. While rebuilding myself mentally and physically and finding the courage to leave an abusive relationship, I gained more than strength—I gained resilience, confidence, and support I didn’t know I needed.

Since then, everything has shifted. The Salt Barre became more than a workout or an escape—it became family, healing, and a place where I continue to grow.

What keeps me coming back is the feeling of strength, connection, and becoming better every time I walk through the door.” 🤍

“Strength to me means staying true to who you are, even when it’s easier to be who others expect you to be.

It’s choosing consistency over perfection, showing up with kindness, and trusting yourself through life’s changes.

Strength isn’t about pushing harder. It’s about knowing when to hold on, when to let go, and having the courage to do both.”
