ADULT SKILLS AND DRILLS RETURNS - WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5 - 8 PM

After over a month long hiatus, our skills and drills adult instructional program returns to the ice this coming Wednesday, August 5 at 8 p.m. For the first five sessions, Justin Roote will be conducting a Preseason Mini Camp in which he and the rest of the coaching staff will undertake an organized instructional program for intermediate level players. Players can either sign up for all five sessions for just $70 or sign up for individual sessons for $20 per practice. As always, each session will consisit of skills instruction, organized drills and finally an end of session half or full ice game.
This will be a great program for folks returning to or joining an adult hockey league this fall and want to get a leg up on the competition.

Also, if goalies sign up for sessions we will work to have a goalie coach at the practice. However, goalies need to sign up at least two days before each sesson so that we can arrange to have a goalie coach present.

Note: All players must register and pay online prior to entering the locker room so that we can check to make sure that everyone had paid prior to stepping on the ice.

Beginner Goalie Training - If there is interest, beginning on August 5, we will be having a five session, beginner goalie program culminating with a beginner game on September 5 in which participating goalies will play. As the BadA$$ league continues to expand, one of the challenges is finding enough goalies for all of the teams. If you have prior ice hockey experience and would like to try playing goalie this is the program for you. Ryan Caskey has generously offered to loan his equipment to anyone wishing to give this a try with the option to buy at the end of the program. In addition, Hat Trick Hockey has a significant amount of used goalie equipment that you can rent or buy. Cost for the program would be just $50 (or $10 per session). This program will be coached by Josh Sieko who is an experienced goalie and a great instructor. If anyone is interested in this program please contact me directly at [email protected]

I am very pleased with the success of our women’s mini camp over the past three weeks. A total of fifteen women attended all or some of those sessions. Based upon these numbers I believe we will have the numbers necessary to have future womens practices and games as well as to play similarly skilled womens teams from other areas.

MAY WOMEN'S MINI CAMP - ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS WELCOME

Join our Women’s Ice Hockey Mini Camp—a fun and supportive way to build skills, gain confidence, and connect with other female players. Designed for beginner and intermediate skaters, this camp offers five 90-minute evening sessions focused on skill development and game play in an encouraging environment. Register for individual sessions at $18 each or save with the full 5-session package for $80.

Sessions are May 6, 13,14,20 & 21 fro 8 pm to 9:30 each night

RETURN OF ADULT SKILLS AND DRILLS - Wednesday, April 15. After a one week hiatus for our Beginners Game, adult skills and drills returns this coming Wednesday. This week's session will be led by Paul Robert.

Looking ahead, we will continue to hold skills and drills until the rink closes for maintenance on May 23.
