Tentative camp dates 2024

Hi all, I finally have the preliminary dates for camp this year. We have to schedule around the summer shows and individual commitments, so some years we end up a bit late!

We will only be having one full camp week this year, July 22-26. The cost for this camp is $400 with registration and a non-refundable $50 deposit due by June 15. Camp will run 9-3:30 each day.

We will run an advanced camp June 26-29 which will include an overnight in the barn on Friday and a horse show for family to attend on Saturday Morning. Riders for this camp must be current students or riders who can independently walk/trot/canter. This camp covers more serious subjects and so is not a good fit for very young riders. Cost is $450 and this camp runs 8:30-4 on Wednesday and Thursday and will have an 8:30 drop off Friday and a 10:00 show start on Saturday with riders ready to go home at the show’s completion. Cost for this camp is $450 and is limited for space.

Last call for Horse Camp!

These are the last two weeks of open camp for 2023.

July 17-21
July 24-28

We have a few open spots for these two weeks and then, that’s it! If you or your child has an interest in horses or riding, this is a great way to try it out!

We have a last minute opening for our camp next week, June 26-30, 8:30am to 3:30pm if there are any kiddos interested in a fun week of horsemanship, games and riding!

2023 Camp Dates!

Sorry it has taken so long to post this year’s dates. We have a lot of family and farm events which have made this a little challenging!

Here are our proposed dates for 2023 by camp type.

Horsemanship camp-ages 6 +
8:30am to 3:30pm
$375
June 26-30
July 17-21
July 24-28

Mini camp-ages 4-8
$125
9am-12pm
July 10-12

Show Camp -must attend weekly lessons to participate
$400 plus show entry (around $30)
August 15-19

We still have space in our July 18-22 camp, as well as two spots in our July 25-29 camp. Camp is a great way to get horse exposure and learn about all of the aspects of horse care and riding while having fun and making new friends! No experience is necessary and ages 6 and up are welcome (younger children may be accepted, please contact us). Cost for the week is $350 and camp runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Hi all! 2021 is here and has proved to be as challenging as 2020. I apologize for providing information so late!

I will be solidifying camp dates in the next few days. Right now it looks like June 21-June 25 and July 5-9 and July 26-July30.

Camp will run from 8:30am to 3:00pm. If you are interested, please let us know so we can start compiling our list. Space will be limited!

Hi all. Covid-19 is forcing a lot of changes, and the riding programs here at the farm have been affected as well. At this time, I hope to open the lesson program by the end of May. Scheduling will be spaced to avoid contact with other riders and masks will be required, but I hope we can get everyone riding again.

Due to the need for social distancing, camps will be limited to six riders per session so that we can limit staff required to operate and keep campers at a reasonable distance from each other.

This means I only have a few spaces left. Please send me a message if your child is interested in attending so I can get an accurate count and further work out a plan.

Provided Maine stays as it is, we will keep camp on the schedule. This may change at any time if we decide the health risks are too great for campers and staff.

I hope you are all safe and healthy and learning or rediscovering skills and hobbies as we quarantine!

All right! Here are the dates for horse camp 2020! Our June date may have to change if kids are still in school, but I’m hopeful they’ll be out! More info on individual camps to follow, but please feel free to contact me with any questions! (Please remember it’s winter and I have 27 horses, so my reply may be delayed).

June 29 - July 3 - Advanced camp

July 6 - 10 - Beginner Camp 1

July 20-24 - Beginner Camp 2

July 27 - 30 - Show Camp

Advanced Camp is for riders 12 and over who can independently tack up and ride Walk/trot/canter. $300/ week

Beginner camp 1 and 2 are for new riders, ages 8-13 with no experience or those just starting to trot or canter. $300/week

Show camp is for riders of any level and age. This camp will require more focus and detail as we will learn to prepare and present horses in different types of competition. Riders will receive materials to put together their own braiding, bathing, emergency show and first aid kits. We will have a mock show on Friday. $350/week

Please note that age groups are meant as a guideline. Please send a message if you have any questions about which camp would be most appropriate for your child.
