The next area people are trying to copy is my actual hold design. The mug on the left is mine and the copycats is on the right. It happens to hold shapers often from what I’ve learned. In my opinion people like this lack courage to make new things and decide to just copy.

This week the children of the Wildwoods worked with creating their own inks. First they scoured the woods for black walnuts and acorns. Unfortunately the squirrels got to the walnuts first but they were able to find acorns. After crushing the acorns, they were boiled over the campfire all day. Next week it will be strained into a jar to use.
Then the children were able to use the turkey feather to draw with black walnut ink Ms Rachel made at home. It was so interesting to see how having to redip every few moments really slowed down their creative process.
